Premier Division: Cheshire Cheese secured a 2-1 win for the second week running this time with an impressive away win at Beechwood SC.

Jack Fradg was the goal hero for The Cheese as he netted a double to negate a Jack Mcgrotty strike for Beechwood.

Lancelyn Glenavon got their season up and running with a hard-fought win against Great Float. A first-half Tom Haynes goal was enough to take the points despite the Float exerting pressure in the second half the equalizer never materialized.

A Connor Doyle header after 10 minutes gave Rock Ferry Social the lead against Bushell Athletic, however Leon Jones made it 1-1 when he knocked home the rebound after his penalty was saved. Chances went begging for both teams, but the game ended 1-1 as both teams had to settle for a point.

Division One: In the Maxwell’s Barber Division One, Corsair FC secured a superb 2-1 away win at Rig Move FC courtesy of efforts from Nathan Brady and Kieran Jones, whilst Rig Move’s consolation came from Shaun Weaver.

Fender FC made it two wins from two to take top spot as they smashed six past AFC Saughall thanks to doubles from Ashley Power and Louis Fox, whilst Ellis Byrne and Carl Navarro both got singles. Ash Jamo netted AFC Saughalls only goal.

Division Two: For the second week running it was goals galore in the Martin Gallier Project Division Two. Last week’s 21 goals scored across just four games were blown away as this week’s total was a staggering 39 goals over the same four games.

Eastham Rangers FC netted fourteen of those goals against Catons FC with a hat-trick of hat-tricks thanks to Martin Marshall, Cole Saunders, and Keiran Hodgson. Harry Huggins and Jamie Galloway both bagged doubles, and James Beddows netted a single.

Oxton Celtic and Saughall FC had to share a point each as they played out a 3-3 thriller, a Harry Sutton brace and a Ste Hird effort did the damage for Oxton whilst Andy Noonan bagged a double and Tom Ashcoft with a single were the marksmen for Saughall.

Not many players score four goals and end up on the losing team but that was the case for Jack Gordan and Poulton Victoria S&S as Higher Bebington Kelma had Liam Addo and Lewis Simmo both with doubles and Corey Wilson and Ad Clarke both netting singles to see Kelma run out 7-4 winners.

Matty Walsh scored two for Upton Willows FC, but they succumbed to Feeney FC 5-2 thanks to five different scorers. Ben Hunter, Lee Gilsenan, Max Carvell, Mitch Francis, and Nathan Mewis were all on target for Feeneys.

Division Three: In the 97 Division Three, AFC Raeburn sit top on goal difference over Glenavon Athletic (second ) and Athletic VH (third ) as all three teams won convincingly. AFC Raeburn eclipsed AFC Rangers 5-0 thanks to a Dan Piggott double and singles from Andy Cook, Jack Hoijord, and Tom Brassey.

Glenavon Athletic also hit five without reply against MSC Eastham. Alex Weston netted a hat-trick for Glenavon to go along with strikes from Cole Foster and Danny Rowland.

Goals from Tom Lockwood, Cam Meadows, Jack Gerrard, and Morgan Roberts secured the points for Athletic VH in a 4-1 victory over AFC Tima who replied via a Nathan Shaw effort.

North Wirral Saints got their campaign off to a flyer as they defeated Parkgate St Germain 5-1. Ben Dunn netted a brace and Jack Whitby, Lee Davis, and Keora Rakoma all found the net with singles for The Saints. Ben Swift scored Parkgate’s consolation goal.
